6. Links to Social Networks, Maps Services, Online Bookings, Video Conferencing, Online Data Storage, Webinar Hosts and Video Hosts

We may have links (hyperlinks) from our website to pages and/or content on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Xing and SnapChat, map services such as Google Maps, online bookings such as Microsoft Bookings, video conferencing such as Microsoft Teams, online data storage such as Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Sharepoint, webinar services such as Zoho, as well as video hosting sites such as YouTube and Vimeo. We would like to point out that these are only links that lead to content in the mentioned sites. These links are not the so-called plugins, with which you could perform social network actions such as "share" or "like". As far as we know, it is technically not possible for social networks or video hosts to collect personal data via our website from these plain links. For the purpose and scope of the data collection after landing on the respective social network, maps service or video host, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective site.

To book telephone/Teams appointments we use Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. (hereinafter referred to as: “Microsoft”) on our website. When you click on the link on our website to book the appointment, a connection is established to Microsoft.

The booking form asks you to provide your first and last names, a valid e-mail address, your telephone number and further information regarding your request.

The data that you provide will be forwarded to Microsoft. We have concluded a data processing contract with Microsoft, in which we oblige Microsoft to protect our customers’ data and not to pass it on to third parties. For further information, please refer to Microsoft’s privacy policy:
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your consent in accordance with Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

In addition, we use the collected data ourselves to carry out the telephone or Teams appointment. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Article 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, as we need data to carry out the ordered telephone or Teams appointment. Your data will be deleted after the order has been carried out, unless we are obliged to store it for a longer period of time in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR due to tax and commercial law retention and documentation obligations (from HGB, StGB or AO) or you have consented to storage beyond this in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

We would like to point out that if you click the external links, your data can also be processed outside the European Union. This can result in risks for the users, as it could, for example, make it more difficult to enforce the rights of the users.

It is also possible that user data may be processed by third parties for market research and advertising purposes. For example, user profiles can be created on the basis of user behaviour and the resulting interests of users. The user profiles can also be used, for example, to place advertisements within and outside social networks that are presumed to correspond to the interests of the user. For these purposes, cookies are usually stored on the user's computer, in which the user's usage behaviour and interests are stored. Furthermore, data may be stored in the user profiles independently of the devices used by the users (in particular if the users are members of the respective social network and are logged in to this network).

For a detailed representation of the respective processing and the possibilities of objection (Opt-Out), we refer to the following linked information of the respective providers. Also in the case of requests for information or the assertion of your rights as a data subject, we point out that these can be asserted most effectively with the social networks. Only these have access to the data of their users and can directly take appropriate measures and provide information. Should you nevertheless need help, you can contact us.
